Calgary Horticultural Society Open Gardens

Horticulture is the art, science, technology, and business of growing plants. It includes the cultivation of food and of non-food crops such as grasses and ornamental trees and plants. It also includes plant conservation, landscape restoration, landscape, and garden design, construction and maintenance, and arboriculture. The Calgary Horticultural Society focuses on meaningful growing spaces in the community. As such, Calgarians are invited to visit open gardens throughout the city. The Society also invites people to visit the educational garden to discover what is really possible in this particular climate.
