Canmore Brewing Company founder Brian Dunn has had a passion for craft beer since he was of legal drinking age. After leaving his job as a mechanical engineer, Brian decided to spend more time doing the things he loved – one of which was brewing beer. Together with longtime friend Marc Gagné, they wanted to be part of the dynamic, active, caring community that is Canmore, and they celebrate their community and sense of place. It is reflected in the company’s philosophy: “Think outside. There is no box”. All of their beer is made with pure Rocky Mountain water, and they collaborate with local businesses whenever possible.
