Cotillion Park

Nestled on the banks of the mighty Peace River, Cotillion Park offers the same spectacular view that impressed explorer Alexander MacKenzie in 1793 as he paddled upriver in search of the Pacific Ocean. Featuring rugged sandstone cliffs, undisturbed parkland forests, and an abundance of wildlife—including moose, deer, bears, beavers, and eagles—this stunning and private location is the perfect destination for a day trip or a wilderness getaway. The park provides excellent access to the river, which boasts some of the best boating and paddling conditions in the entire Peace Country. Whether you want to fish along the banks, launch your boat, explore the scenic trails on foot or by ATV, discover a secluded waterfall, or relax at your campsite, there are plenty of activities for all ages. Plus, the campground keeps you connected to the world with on-site Starlink Wi-Fi.

Amenities and Events: The sheltered group-use area features a fire pit, washrooms, showers, and a playground, and proudly hosts the annual Music in the Park event every summer. For those looking to navigate the waters, Mighty Peace Tourism provides a handy Upper Peace Valley Recreation Area Map/Guide for River Travel.
