Lac Agnes Tea House

The Lake Agnes Tea House is a historic landmark nestled at 2,135 meters above sea level, perched on the shores of a stunning glacial lake above Lake Louise. Built by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1901, this rustic log cabin has been serving hikers for over a century. The tea house operates without electricity or running water, offering a selection of over 100 loose-leaf teas, homemade soups, and fresh-baked goods prepared daily. The site provides breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and the valley below. It is highly recommended to bring cash (CAD or USD), as the lack of electricity makes card transactions unreliable, and to start your hike early in the morning to beat the crowds.
