Prairie Spirit Alpacas

Here, Huacaya alpacas are raised sustainably, surrounded by love, and treated like true members of the family. Renowned worldwide for their exceptionally luxurious fleece, these calm and gentle animals are sure to melt your heart. In addition to meeting them, you will discover their incredible natural fibre, which comes in 22 natural shades. Hypoallergenic, water-resistant, and twice as warm as sheep’s wool, alpaca fleece is used to create durable, timeless artisan products. It’s a unique rural experience combining animal connection and local craftsmanship!
Tours and Hours: The farm and its on-site boutique are open to the public on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is by donation, but you must reserve your time slot in advance via email or their Facebook page.
Seasonality: Farm visits are weather and season-dependent. However, their online store remains open year-round.
On-site: A Saturday-only boutique offering hand-spun and hand-dyed yarn, as well as high-quality handcrafted clothing and accessories.
Access and Connectivity: Located in Millarville, the farm is in a rural area. Be sure to download your directions beforehand, as cell service can be spotty in the hills.
