Rocky Mountain Adaptative

Based in Canmore, Rocky Mountain Adaptive (RMA) is a registered charity dedicated to making mountain sports and outdoor activities accessible to everyone. Its mission is to remove physical and cognitive barriers by offering over 20 disciplines, such as adaptive skiing and handcycling, throughout the Banff and Jasper regions. Through specialized equipment and certified instructors, RMA enables individuals of all abilities to thrive in nature.
Please note that to ensure the availability of specialized equipment and qualified staff, all activities must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Whether through one-on-one lessons or group programs, the organization transforms lives by fostering independence and confidence in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, providing a vital resource for inclusive adventure in Alberta’s mountain landscapes.
