Paahtómahksikimi Cultural Centre

The Park is significant to the Blackfoot People as it was used for ceremonial, hunting, camping, trading and healing purposes. In the Blackfoot Language Waterton is called “paah-to-mahk-si-kim-i” meaning Inner Sacred Lake. Paahtomahksikimi Cultural Centre’s mission is to help visitors connect with the spirit of Waterton while educating about the history of Paahtomahksikimi.
