Yamnuska Wolfdogs Sanctuary
Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary is a non-profit organization providing a safe haven for rescued wolfdogs while educating the public about their complex nature. Far from a typical zoo, the focus is on ethics and animal welfare. Visitors can choose from a self-guided sanctuary walk, an introductory platform tour, or the popular interactive experience where you can hand-feed the wolfdogs. The sanctuary is open year-round, from Thursday to Monday. It is highly recommended to book the “Interactive Tour” several weeks in advance, as spots are strictly limited to ensure a low-stress environment for the animals. Please note that a minimum age of 6 is required to enter the grounds, with higher age limits for guided tours.
