Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden

Named in honour of the international friendship between Japan and Canada, the beautifully manicured Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens are a lush oasis in the heart of Lethbridge. Stroll the exquisite grounds to discover the harmonious balance of perfectly pruned trees, soothing water features and symbolic structures. Every season is beautifully unique – from the vibrant pink crab apple blossoms in spring to the brilliant autumn foliage. Touring the gardens during Winter Lights is another must-do.

Broxburn Vegetables & Cafe

Broxburn Vegetables & Café is not only a popular restaurant, it is a thriving farm and UPick operation that grows and sells organic fruits and vegetables all year long. It is family-owned and operated and Broxburn Vegetables & Café offers a true taste of southern Alberta cuisine and culture.

Medalta in the Historic Clay District

Medalta is a jewel in the Canadian Badlands, an industrial museum and contemporary arts centre, framed by the dramatic cliffs of the South Saskatchewan River in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Inhale the nostalgia as you walk the same floors as past factory workers. Learn and create while getting hands-on with a clay experience taught by ceramic artists who are currently enrolled in their International Artists in Residence program.

Medicine Hat Brewing Company

In 1912, the Medicine Hat Brewing Company began serving old-fashioned lager, ale, and stout to the city’s early, thirsty residents. It’s hot and dry here and they all know how a good beer can cool you off after a hard day’s work. When the Temperance Movement picked up, this popular brewery – One of the Hat’s first – was forced to close. But you can’t keep a good thing down. Over a century later, the Medicine Hat Brewing Company name has been dusted off and again serves thirsty, hard-working hands Timeless Craft Beer.

Brooks Corn Maze

Brooks Corn Maze invites you to get lost in the corn field and enjoy outdoor activities with the entire family. Open weekends from August to October, the corn maze offers plenty of children’s activities including a magnetic fish pond, the Human Hamster, Pasture Putt Golf, the Corny Sandbox, and the chance to cuddle lambs, bunnies and goats. Enjoy a new corn maze design every year, and in addition to the maze, check out the U-pick raspberries and fresh farm produce during the summer and pumpkin sales in October.
